Secret Keeper...

When I start something, I tend to like to finish it. Unless it has no foreseeable end, rather like Skyrim or this blog. Though those are both bad examples because I will continue doing them (can you do blog?) because they're addictive and I enjoy them. Though, I find it quite difficult to sit down and start writing a blog at the moment, and I don't think I can not publish this on the same day I wrote it, at 10am as always.

I've got to put the rubbish out.

And there's clearly nothing better in my mind at the moment. Tomorrow (day off) I'm going to explore the Christmas Market and perhaps 'officially' start some Christmas shopping.

I've got a very good idea for some Christmas Presents after some very recent inspiration. And just then I got some more inspiration. It's going to be an interesting Christmas if I pull this off. And provided it's not snowing, I've got my Christmas plans sorted as well. But shhh, Mum doesn't know, and she's either going to be very angry or very happy to see me Christmas Eve. We shall see.

Well it's now Thursday, a whole two days since I wrote all of that, and do you know what? I think I've got things to say now. The first of which being that I am not a rubbish secret-keeper, and it bugs me people saying as such. And following that line of inquiry, we've all got secrets, some that people know, and others that people don't. Secrets exist, and they're not there to annoy others but they will inevitably do so. It's cruel, but it's life.
But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn't I, my dear?
I did some chores yesterday, like the cleaning and the shopping, before playing Skyrim for a short while, catching up with Master of Sex (controversial?!), before heading out and hitting the park for a little bit. It had been a long time, and it was almost snowing at one point the rain was so fine. I obviously took my camera with me. It was great to see all the world change from green to reds, yellows, and deep, rich, mahogany.

But, as the storm clouds closed in, I chose town and wandered around the Christmas Market, and much to Tag's disappointment, I didn't end up buying him a carved concrete fish named Harriet. Instead I clambered into Waterstones (#watetstones #justsaying) and had some cake and coffee before sitting down and writing about the life of Amy Boatman from Farcliff (I'm not convinced she should be called Amy, but the Boatman bit stays). And it also made me realise that Amy Boatman is Red's character - and Tag agreed. So that question is answered right there. So far the cast reads:

Tag - Thom Gomdar who becomes Rhiss Llesion the freedom fighter.
Cherry - Nellia Senaf, a dryad and woodland spirit of Realind.
Red - Amy Boatman, a Seer of the Future and a resident of Farcliff.
Pill - Nopthom Hill, the Woodsman of Myrddin.
DarkHorse - Nico Evelaas, Wind of the Trees.
HB - Lamia, Lady of the Moon.
GG - Gina Gorbs, a gypsy fortune teller.
Wodge - Resy Whalls, a Dark Elf from Qual.

An interesting array of people I think, but obviously you don't know very much about them. Luckily I've got all your stories up in my head, and on my laptop and places like that. Either way, that happened and then I went to see Tag and we went to CEX before heading for Le Lake Poob. Found our usual spots, and drank waiting for everyone. It was a nice evening, except for my feeling I was getting on everyone's nerves. Paranoia does like to set in when I've been by myself for a day or so. It amazes me that I made it to the age of 24 with the mental state I've got.

It was a memory stick with a Frank Album on it. And it wasn't a Secret.

Quiet Contemplation...

The red sun rises on the fifth day, coffee steams on the bookcase, and How Long Will I Love You is serenading me from my iPod...

I hate to say it, but all these things are needed to get me out of bed this morning. I tried, in my fatigue (not mentally) to wake my body up through exercise. Unfortunately, my body decided that enough was enough and gave up half way through. So, that's a little bit of exercise Thursday Night, Friday Night, and now this morning - that makes for one workout right?

Tonight we chill and get this party started riiiight!

We're going over Red's to hangout: movies, telly, food, what excitements will we have in store. And I've got to remember to get the flavoured water... (psst, like I'll forget)...

Last night, I didn't get up to much, Pill's away this weekend, so I came home to a quiet house, but still with the washing up to do from when I cooked on Wednesday. So, I phoned my mother - she's back from her holidays with Dad, and then I turned my tunes on and jammed to all the ballads and danced and sang whilst I washed and cooked. I caught my reflection in the kitchen window, and I didn't think there was a fat man singing there any more. Don't get me wrong, I've got a long way to go just yet, but I'm actually thinking I'm not that fat any more...

I suppose I got the hint, when I had to go buy a new dinner jacket because all the other ones could go around me more than once (perhaps Dad wants them)...

I made the food I will be eating all weekend, a sort of bolognese with bacon instead of mince, and settled in to watch a completely rubbish RomCom with Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, Owen Wilson, and Jack Nickolson. It was awful, I don't even know why I watched it. But it gave me hope that if something that rubbish (even the Last Airbender movie) could be made, then there's room for me somewhere up there.

And no one's really told me what they thought of Bute Wall yet!

So, that was my evening of quiet contemplation and exercise. Bit of a let down really, but then I was tired. Roll on 7:30!

It's A Nice Change...

Its been a long time since I've had at least a warm coffee that I've made. I either get so wrapped up in what I'm doing and I forget it's there until it has the same temperature as a glass of water or...nope it's the first thing.

Coffee isn't the essence of life for me, although, it could be. I don't require it (well in a sense that I could go without one, but if I don't I get terrible headaches, which I hear are all in my head anyway - ba-doom-tish!) but I like the actual flavour of it. I never used to, finding a coffee coated Revel used to be like Russian Roulette. I'd chew into it, and immediately die of painful and agonising taste, and then I realised I could just spit it out and go for the malteaser one instead. Though, thankfully, my tastes have changed. I can't eat things that are too sweat nowadays though, and again, that's a good thing.

But it's odd how things change, and have the ability to change, don't you think? I suppose that's one of the wonders of life the universe and everything, the ability to change. And if life didn't change, social situations didn't evolve, personal dynamics (I sound like a Sims loading screen) didn't adapt, things would either stay the same or fall apart, and it's that ability to alter our own ideas that, I suppose, makes us so brilliant, and keeps things fresh and moving, onward to a better dawn.

Needless to say, that was all waffle because nothing much in my life (that I can tell you about) happened yesterday. I did, however, manage to pull all the muscles in my lower back, and by lower back, it's more the area of the body I fondly call my gluteus maximus. But rather like Mallard said, you gotta keep going if you want to be bootylicious (I'm paraphrasing-ish)... How did I manage that you ask? Well to keep a sense of mystery to it I'll just say that it involved a couple of fish tanks and a pump-truck.

I've got 9 hours today, 12 hours tomorrow, and 9 on Monday before I'm off on Tuesday. And I find that that's the best way to recover from a broken arse, you've got to work it out (or does the song say jerk it out?)

The heatwave is coming again, my phone says it could get up to 25 degrees on Tuesday. Yep, I thought it too, my phone's finally stopped telling the truth because it knows I call it names behind its back and long to change it to something else.

Oh well, as I've successfully not talked about anything this time, I think I'll leave it at that. You guys have a nice day now:
When you are courting a nice girl an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder a second seems like an hour. That's relativity.

Insta-Chinese-Stuff...

A mediocre Monday occurred yesterday, it was nothing special, and nothing bad either, just a Monday...

I awoke in a daze, and very much stayed that way until well after lunchtime when I downed two coffees. I don't think the Nescafe Coffee pouch I had for breakfast was particularly full of caffeine (perhaps I do have a high from it after all).

I don't really have very much to talk about today because all I did last night was bake some cookies, and Pill insists that there are too many for our consumption. He and I also got quite deep again last night (giggity), so much so that we spoke until about 9:30 and then went to watch Wild China without much dinner. It was odd. I had canned soup, and he ate two corn-on-the-cob.

He and I also realised that we hadn't really had a Chinese in a long while, and we now have the ultimate coffee table for Chinese eating (does that make sense?), so I was thinking Friday. What do you guys think? Or if not, sometime next week? I have 10-days off coming up. I wonder what I'll get up to, I've got nothing planned. Perhaps I'll just get to spend more time writing or something.

I have some things to do: get a haircut, go home, cook a roast dinner, garden a bit in the rain (oh, yeah, it looks like rain next week. So much for increasing the possibility of Sun, perhaps I'll finish my book.).

I've gotten a little obsessed with Instagram recently, I like photography. Perhaps I'll ask for a camera for my birthday or something, who knows. Is that my thing? Perhaps not: 'knowledge about places and being a people-person' to quote Red. She thought I was an adventurous child and everything (could you imagine that?) Also, knowledge about places? Pill insists that he still doesn't know me. He thinks there's a lot more to know, that I haven't discovered yet. Though I did ask him how I act in an emergency, not that I know whether I've been in an emergency or not. He replied that I was very protective, and also the kind of person to grab a camera.

So, there we are. My flatmate and I spent the evening searching for ourselves, and talking about life and shit (alright, gaay!). He also thinks that I should stop waiting for life and go and find it. I don't think I wait around for life do I?

The 92nd Amendment...

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii...

So it's been a while yet again. And I don't think I have an excuse this time. Not one excuse, which isn't like me.

I've recently discovered Coffee, which is either a good thing or a bad thing. I think I had a withdrawal thing this morning, to which I drank and the pain went away. I could be addicted. Hmm...

Anyway, this was only ever going to be a quick hello and a tell you how I'm getting on. I'm writing a NaNoWriMo entry this year, and I'm already 15,000 words behind where I want to be on the 9th November, but that's like a day's work, right?

I'm also growing my mustache for Movember. I know, I know, stop laughing - I probably won't end up like this:

But here's a video explaining everything about Movember:

And here's my progress video:

So please Sponsor My Mo here. I think that's about it. I'll try to update more and more as the year dies. It's my birthday next week, and I don't know what I'm doing for it just yet, perhaps I should figure that one out now.

Carpe diem, until next time bloggers...
