The Writing People And Other Businesses...

Sorry about the delay in this broadcast. May your programs resume and normal...

As you might remember I was worrying about my Driving Test the last time I wrote something on here, which, surprisingly, as I've looked at the calendar now, was only the start of the month. Well if that's the case, then I think April has been the busiest month I've had in a while, and I interned for a publishing company in February.

So you'd think that the news about me passing the Driving Test was the feature of this blog post, but as amazing as it sounds to me, it was nothing.

The real reason for getting in contact, and telling you that my new Driving capabilities are only the footnote to my month is that I and the other Writing People - you might remember our exploits on YouTube before Christmas - have started a website: www.thewritingpeople.weebly.com

We have lots more stuff to do with it, but where it is now (after 3 weeks) is a good jumping off place. And it's only our beginnings, you cannot possibly comprehend, unless you've been there, the excitement that has been following Tag, Cherrybelly, HB Sauce, Dark Horse, and I around for the last month. Well perhaps not the last month for everyone.

I decided that I was fed up of jobseeking one sunny afternoon, after an umpteenth rejection letter or just complete silence, as rejection letters don't turn up as often as you'd think. And I decided to make a website. Tag helped me find the place to work in, and we constructed, with my OCD, a good looking site. And there's more to come.

Our site is for all writers and readers. We want to build a community that helps bring together published and unpublished writers, all editing, critiquing, and proofreading as we go. Or at least, that's the beginning of the plan. So spread the word, and I'm sure I'll get back to talking about emotions and soppy stuff later on...

Two Days To Go...

Well my hands are still shaking...

I hope that by writing this down here I'll cast aside any doubt in my driving technique. Yep, that's right everyone, I've got a Driving Test on Tuesday. YAY!

Though I suppose it doesn't help that my instructor changed his car recently, and I suppose it certainly doesn't help that I keep finding faults with my own driving, and I suppose it doesn't help that I shout at my mother as she shouts instructions back (as I don't need to be told what to do at this stage), and it certainly doesn't help that I've not really been out in my (our, my parent's) own car that often, which is a lot less often than I would have liked.

But really all this lumps up to some huge excuse as I try to calm down and keep smiling as I told HB that I would continue to do so. It's all some really basic stress that I really do not need to have at this stage. Last week I didn't even feel as if I had a Driving Test very soon. Right now, it feels like the only thing in the world and if I fail it, I won't really have an cash to have another go at it. I need to do this, I will do this.

I suppose it didn't help that Tag (Yes, you!) seems to have less faith in me than I do. Admittedly he was drunk, but he just kept saying that I would Fail because I was a guy and all guys do straight away. Well, needless to say, it's just piled on the stress.

I had a good drive today, up until a small busy roundabout, where I chose to make a bad decision and feel my instructor take over. Oh what a good feeling that is, when your driving technique is always called into question before your test.

But it's not as if these things are playing on my mind. HB has been detrimental in my confidence building, she has faith in me. And that's such a very useful thing to have. Knowing that someone out there believes in me. And she's introduced me to 'Netflix', 'Warehouse 13', and has been having a 'Shep Week' (playing Mass Effect 1, 2, and 3) or sorts with me, and I know it might not all be just distractions from the Test itself, but now I think about it, they have been keeping me relatively stress-less.

P.S. Please have faith in me.

The Rain In Spain...

I know, I know, I've been neglecting you again. I suppose there's no real excuse this time except to say that I'm distracted, though I might tell you about that later...

How're you? I trust you're well.

Things in my world are a little topsy turvy at the moment, well they may seem normal to you but its just feeling very weird and unstable to me. Things move fast and slow all at once, and nothing seems to be happening to me. Life just continues, and at the moment I'm an observer, I've been knocked off the path my some inconsiderate driver and I'm waiting for the Roadside Saviour to come along and help me.

Okay enough of the analogies, if anyone's going to help me, then it's going to be me more than anyone else. 'Always look out for Number One' my Mother says. It just seems too cut-throat and cruel to be true - but then I here about murders and suicides and fires on the news every evening and realise that this world really isn't as nice as I like to think it is.

But saying that, I'm no pushover myself. Or I like to think so, if you have anything to say on the matter then by all means leave a comment down below - I'd love to know what you think.

Last week was a busy time, a surprise birthday rendezvous for HB Sauce's birthday went off quite well I think - many incidents occurred and I hope HB enjoyed herself - after all that's all that matters, it was her birthday after all. People still call me a 'mug' (Hi Master) and I suppose I am, but it was a nice trip out either way - or at least I thought so anyway.

Driving is going well. I'm not quite the King of the Road just yet, but I think I can competently drive from my house to Wildmill and back without much problem (which is where I am in my learning by the way). I do need to brush up on my Highway Code though.

I've applied for a job at a well known superstore, thanks to HB's Aunt and Cousin who offered to get me a form and take it in for me. It might be an odd thing to you (I know what you're thinking) but I appreciated it all the same.

And it would seem, why all this was happening, and while Wales missed out on the Rugby World Cup Final, I found myself distracted, in the middle of it all just looking in, feeling lost, unwanted, and lonely. I don't know why - it's just this odd feeling I get every now and then. It's really quite stupid, but when I go a couple of days without seeing anyone except my family I feel that everyone else has gone away and they'll forget about me. And as I write this I realise that I have some similarities to the Dog herself (Yes Poppy, I mean you, stop tilting your head as if you know what I'm on about).

So this rut I'm stuck in better get out of my way, because I plan on powering through. And this self-therapy is definitely going to get me there.

Oooh, I just realised that my 100th Blog is coming up and I think I should do something special to mark my first century of blogs. Any suggestions?

Traveling Laziness...

As you can probably guess from my blogging antics and my general outings...

Last week, or possibly the week before, I told you all about the new regime I was going to undertake. Well, unfortunately, as you can probably guess, I haven't been able to keep up with such demand, my life as it is.

Yep, as you can also probably tell, I am lying almost completely. I'm a lazy sod sometimes. Lazy and unproductive.

Tomorrow I shall return my laptop to it's factory settings so if you don't here from me, I've definitely broken something. Actually, now that I think about it, I don't know whether that's a good idea or not.

So, right now I'm watching 'Paul' with my mother, whilst drinking a pint of 'Apple-tini' (because I drink girl's drinks in men's sizes) and relaxing in the evening. I don't know why I'm relaxing, because I've been almost horizontal for quite a while. Man, I'm so lazy. Perhaps I should apply to more Online Magazines, or perhaps I should get in contact with the Carmarthen Journal and Trinity College, and try to liaison the two.

Meh, that's just an idea.

I've been driving. I know right, driving. It's going well. I don't know whether I'll be driving before Christmas, but that would be a nice thought. My dreams have been getting less strange and more straight forward recently, but I might tell you about that some other time.

I've been spending the weekend with Tag, Cherrybelly, HB Sauce, and Dark Horse - and sometimes Pill, who was over the internet. And next week I shall be attending a Stag-do - my first Stag-do experience - and the week after that, my first wedding of friends, and then we have CZA (Carmarthen Zombie Apocalypse - click here for tickets), and then with all this busy business, I've got a House Warming very far west at some point. The Master still needs to tell me when.

Now I should probably go because I've rambled on far too long, and my sentences and grammar has gotten bad and I lose stuff cos me bad too. So...

Comment if you want to start some sort of dialogue on here. That would be cool.

Silver Clios and 30 Rock...

Well as I was exhausted after doing barely anything on Wednesday - after Graduating on Tuesday. Oh yes, I've Graduated. Pictures on Facebook, enjoy.

Either way, on Wednesday it was the 6th July 2011. Now if you didn't know - and I don't think you do, the 6th July 2010 was the first and only time HB Sauce asked me out.

I have only, at the moment, 3 major failures in my life, and messing up at 11pm on 6th July 2010 is my number one. Which is a pity because, right now, that I'm living at home, and not with my makeshift family back in Carmarthen, every single Silver Renault Clio I see, I hope its hers. Damnit! This is getting too sad now.

Its also rather strange seeing as everyone back in Bridgend thinks that HB and I should be together because they're all pushing for it as well. Its like the Universe is speaking to - well just me actually.

Okay, so plans for becoming the man HB wants:
1. Learn how to drive - Not only will this be excellent for my confidence but if I know how to drive then I can be spontaneous more often and take her out at the drop of a hat. And surprise her and the like.
2. Vin Diesel it up. Not only will it be good for my self-esteem and my overall health, but if I look sexy then there's always the hope.
3. Become the Breadwinner. If I have a good job, then obviously my life is going to be easier, and I will be able to do the whole learning how to drive and getting a car, the insurance, and move out eventually.

So I've got to stick to those things and all will be well.

But for now I will return to 30 Rock, which is a brilliant American Comedy to rival How I Met Your Mother. It stars Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin, and what else can I say but watch it!

Sunshine, Tennis, and Nothing Much Else...

Yep, I've been my least productive since, well, ever.

I don't think I've ever been this lazy. I'm always thinking about doing things, but right now I'm eating things I don't want to, my Vin Dieseling has certainly taken a step back, things I should have been writing I haven't been writing (like this), things I've been thinking about writing I've not been writing, and things that have planned to be written haven't been written. I've also not done a lot of living, preparing for this Italian holiday of mine, and I've been eating far too much, even in my opinion!

I wondered where I got the weight from, that would be my mother's cooking, and her insistence on seconds. And she wonders why she wont lose weight! I think I've expanded by just being here - I hope my suit still fits. Its only been a week since I bought it.

My room is now looking less of a storage space, but it's still not far off one, and I've even found that xbox seems like a chore - which is something I never want to say again. I say it now, because I don't mean it. Every time I get on the Xbox there always seems to be something I have to go do, right at that moment.

I'm busier now at home than I was at university, its annoying, and giving me a headache - which, yet again, came back yesterday and surprised me with an entire left brain explosion of pain.

Though at least I got to watch the Tennis - that was good. And I should watch Camelot before Stolen tonight on BBC 1 with Damian Lewis!

I also really want to write something good. I've been worrying about the future today. After my holiday its CVs, Driving Lessons, and the Big Wide World. Hopefully writing will take my mind off things and keep me active.

Perhaps I'll write the Panto for the winter time. And the Tv Series for next year, with a few friends.

But that's me, until next time bloggers...
