A Birthday Worth Having...

We went to Jamie's Italian and it was bloody good. I know I said that I was going to stop talking about it last time I spoke to you, but do you know how good Jamie's is? Expensive, the correct portions, and no one went away saying that was too much, and no one was too full, despite Red saying she was but the steak she was eating was just too good to stop eating...

We had about four bottles of Merlot between the four/five vino rosso drinkers. And much merriment was had, chatting, catching up, eating, and photos. Not many, but enough. Everything was lovely. I received no less than three more gifts. An engraved hobbit tankard from Wodge and Obombz, a pair of lounge trousers from Cherry, and a secret gift from Red, that's a secret (shhh...). Am I a rubbish secret keeper?

Yesterday was a very nice lazy day. Pill and I played Skyrim while DarkHorse slept a lot. And when the couple left, as the couple tend to from time to time, I caught up on Masters of Sex (all up to speed now), and when that was done I did a couple of things I haven't done in a while (and don't take that the wrong way)...

After spamming instagram, I retired to my room and played the secret gift on repeat. I just lay on my bed staring up at the ceiling and listened to the whole thing through, and then listened to it all over again. I thought about life, and fun, and distant lands I'm not even sure exist. And it was quite relaxing. I then did something also rather out of character for me, I sat and read my book - which is called The Written at the moment. It's amazing what I get up to when left to my own devices.

It was also the best night's sleep I've had in a while, no bad dreams, nightmares, or biting tongues. Perhaps I should do that every night?

This morning, while perusing my YouTube feed I found a beauty of a song by Ed Sheeran, that I think is a little out of character for the Hobbit (I suppose they had Annie Lennox do a song in Lord of the Rings), however it's pretty good, and I think I've listened to it about six times now. It's a builder, which an epic finale, check it out...

Thank you to everyone who made this birthday worth having. You know what I'm like when it comes to birthdays, but you guys made it brilliant. Thank you!

Note To Self...

Okay just a quick note to myself right now after some rather grounding news I just received through the telephone. It reminded me that life still continues on, and nothing is forever, and life is always changing, even if I don't see it concealed within these four-walls of safety and parental ownership.

So the quick note starts now. From tomorrow morning onwards you will do the following things every day until you are - a. Fit and Handsome (Vin Diesel), b. A Published Writer, and c. A Paid Professional.

In order for all this to happen you must do the following every day for as long as it takes:
- Vin Diesel it up. This means exercise for at least an hour a day, even if it means joining the gym.
- Writing at least a thousand words a day. They don't have to be the right words, but they do have to be written to form the routine.
- Read at least one Chapter of one Book a day. This will make you more knowledgeable of your field and allows you to see what your enemies are writing. (That last bit is for drama, I have no enemies...except you Tag!!!!)

And if I do not do these three simple things, then I am letting myself down and falling into slobbery and laziness. Therefore, as a punishment, I will starve myself if I have not exercised, or deprive myself of sleep until the thousand words have been written and the Chapter has been read.

I know it's harsh on myself, but how else am I going to get my slovenly self to do anything?

And if you know that I have not done these three simple things then you too should punish me.

Carpe diem, until next time bloggers...

P.S. Tag, you're not my enemy, I was only kidding.

The Results...

Well my day went well... (LIES!!!)

But before I begin today I would like to bring to your attention the Poll in the side bar over there >>>

Please answer it accordingly and I'll get back to you. Anyway...

Continues!

Yep, I managed to do a few things today. Well to this point. But most of the things I've done today weren't on the list I wrote this morning. I'll just make a list of this I did not manage to do today, compared to a list of what I have managed to do:

I Have Not:
- Written Lots
- Read Lots
- Started my Ebay Entrepreneurial Schemes

I Have:
- Made Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
- Eaten Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
- Spoken to HB Sauce Lots
- Applied for My First Proper Job
- Blogged Twice
- Seen myself on the Proms
- Washed Lots of Clothes
- Cleaned the House
- Written the First Paragraph of a competition entry
- Watched the Rain
- Fixed the Internet
- Bought Lino

I Plan To:
- Read to Chapter 10
- Finish Draft 1 of the Competition Entry
- Lock Myself in My Room until all that is done.

So with that all written down here I realise that whatever I plan, or have not planned, my days are busy no matter whether they're productive or not. Tomorrow it will be attempt two of productivity.

Carpe diem, until next time bloggers...

P.S. Here's another song from Meekakitty to cheer you all up, and as always if you like this video or anything else Meekakitty does then you should probably subscribe to her channel by clicking here and then pressing the subscribe button until you're subscribed. Enjoy!

Wizard Love...

Just a quick note before I get on with my productive day... (I hope...)

Today I will be writing and reading, and possibly starting my Ebay Entrepreneurial Schemes in an attempt to empty this house of clutter. But first I just wanted to show you something I really really love right about now, apart from the cup of tea I hold at my side, and the full belly of cereal I currently have. No! The thing I love right now is this...

And yes, she's a red head, I know. I don't think that makes me biased...does it?

If you liked this video or anything else Meekakitty does then you should probably subscribe to her channel by clicking here and then pressing the subscribe buttom until you're subscribed.

Carpe diem, until next time bloggers...

P.S. I might be posting in a little while to tell you about my productive day. Fingers crossed I've done those few little tasks.
P.S.S. Damn, I've also got to apply for jobs. Forgot about that aspect of my life!
